Join Robin H Rodger, the eldest son of Willie Rodger for an illustrated insight into the life and work of Scottish printmaker Willie Rodger RSA RGI DUniv. (1930-2018). Willie Rodger trained at Glasgow School of Art in the late 1940s and established himself as one of Scotland's leading printmakers, specialising in lino and woodcut, famously printed without a press.
Our speaker Robin H Rodger is the eldest son of Willie Rodger. He graduated MA (Hons) in Art History from the University of St Andrews in 1983 before taking a post-graduate diploma in Museum and Gallery studies at Manchester and has been involved with Museums and Art Galleries since 1984. Since 2013 he has been Documentation Officer for the Royal Scottish Academy of Art & Architecture.
