Suitable for ages 16+.
This workshop will take inspiration from the 'Nature Nurture' exhibition to make characters for a short animation. Using recycled materials, you will have the opportunity to bring your creatures to life by photographing them with your mobile phone/tablet to make a short stop animation. You can even collaborate and work as groups to make a film with a range of characters in it. Please bring along a smart phone or tablet to take part in this workshop. Katie Forrester is a senior lecturer in illustration and has exhibited work nationally and held the position of Artist in Residence with Scotland’s Early Literature for Children Initiative (SELCIE).
