To mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of one of Edinburgh's most famous daughters, Muriel Spark: A Centenary Celebration brings together a discrete display of printed items and artwork connected with the author and a number of dedicated events in a single case display.

A celebrated novelist, playwright, poet and critic, Muriel Spark is considered one of the finest writers of the twentieth century, and the acclaim she received during her lifetime continues to grow since her death.

The Writers Museum is delighted to be a partner in the national Muriel Spark 100 programme funded by Creative Scotland and the National Library of Scotland. Find out more at https://murielspark100.com/
