For National Walking Month, Paths For All are celebrating walking champions in their portrait photography campaign: Humans of the Walk.

Humans of the Walk is a portrait photography exhibition and campaign that captures the faces and stories of people who champion everyday walking.

Path for All have teamed up with an eight-strong student group of photographers, CollectiveF8, to celebrate the fundamental benefits that walking brings to the physical and mental health of the nation.

You can view their Humans of the Walk photography exhibition at the Museum of Edinburgh from Sunday 5 May - Sunday 12 May.

The exhibition photos are brought to life by 11 unique stories of love, strength, happiness, pain, loss, friendship and age and are all connected by one thing: walking.

Humans of the Walk has been created to inspire the nation to fall in love with walking and to make time for it in daily life.

Their campaign recognises the great positive impact that walking can bring to improve wellbeing, prevent ill health, build communities and create a happier, healthier, greener Scotland.
