Ron O’Donnell has an amazing archive exploring one of Edinburgh’s most enduring and much-loved areas. Join us for a digital walk around Leith looking at some familiar landmarks and remembering some long-forgotten places.
O’Donnell is an artist and lecturer in photography at Edinburgh Napier University. His work has been displayed in exhibitions worldwide, including the seminal show ‘The Vigorous Imagination’ at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art. He is the recipient of a Leverhulme Trust Research grant for photography and his work has been collected by museums worldwide and acquired for the nation, including the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, Edinburgh, Victoria and Albert Museum, London and the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, Glasgow.
This free virtual lecture will be run online on Microsoft Teams; booking is essential as attendees will be sent joining instructions a day or so beforehand.
