Before becoming a world-famous author, Robert Louis Stevenson served a reluctant apprenticeship to the family firm of lighthouse engineers. To celebrate RLS Day, join members and friends of the Robert Louis Stevenson Club for a series of readings reliving his teenage experiences in his own words at harbour works in Anstruther and Wick, a lighthouse tour of Orkney, Shetland and Fair Isle, and a spell on the tiny isle of Earraid off the coast of Mull.
