Our multi award-winning costumed performers, Edinburgh Living History, celebrate their 21st anniversary this year. Join us to celebrate their big birthday with a costumed tour of the castle portraying the year 1903, led by Mrs Mackay the housekeeper. The residents will proudly discuss the modern innovations and showcase the owners’ numerous collections. As there are a lot of stairs in Lauriston, we will also show an optional digital tour of the castle in the downstairs sitting room. There will be a further opportunity for everybody to watch a film featuring the cast of Edinburgh Living History. At the end of the event, enjoy some birthday cake in the courtyard and mingle with the cast and staff.
