Imagine if Zoom had been around in 1916! We have all seen how a community meeting on Zoom can escalate!
It’s the year 1916 and some Edinburgh residents are planning a major event to raise money to support the conduct of the war; but they are unsure what will be the most effective way to do this. Eavesdrop on their discussions in which they use the most “modern technology". What could possibly go wrong?
Edinburgh Living History are a team of volunteers who interpret various aspects of history by making the events come alive. During the pandemic they themselves have had to embrace modern innovations in technology and have produced a series of digital presentations depicting life in Edwardian Edinburgh.
This taster session will now be streamed on our Lauriston Castle Facebook page. No booking required; just join us on the day!
