“Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.” Albert Camus
This workshop focuses on wellbeing and community.
Autumn is a beautiful time of year; the colours of autumn are captivating and lend themselves well to creativity and crafting. In this crochet workshop you will have an opportunity to work with the colours of autumn, immersing yourself in nature. In this multi-skilled level crochet workshop, we will crochet symbols of autumn, and you can choose to add them to a hoop or make a garland to decorate your home. You will already be able to crochet, and be confident in holding your hook and yarn, and competent in making chains, and trebles. This workshop would also work well as a crochet refresher. You may choose to make super easy pumpkins in different sizes, or for the well-practiced beginner/improver you may want to try leaves, acorns, mushrooms, or autumn flowers, and for the accomplished crocheter you may enjoy the company of like-minded people in a beautiful environment. There will be lots of time for me to demonstrate the makes and to support you on your crochet journey. You will receive a class handout so you can continue your makes at home if you wish, and all the materials needed for the workshop will be provided for you, just bring along your favourite 4 mm crochet hook.
