Victoria Crowe, Painting the Poetry
A talk, looking at the Exhibition Victoria Crowe: 50 Years of Painting, to see afresh, and interpret the poetic method in the work of Victoria Crowe. The talk will also be a personal telling of the artist’s long, fruitful relationship with The Scottish Gallery and through the milestones of her exhibitions see how subjects have been added and revisited to build her rich, poetic world. Guy Peploe is a Director of The Scottish Gallery, where he began in career in 1983. He has written, lectured and broadcasted widely on Scottish art in the modern period.
