Didgie | Sgeidse
One of a small series made in recognition of a place where two waters meet, The Annick and the Clerkland.
Below an arterial road, into a housing scheme, yet with charm beyond its place. The underpass has brutalist undertones, with beautiful shuttered concrete and liminal qualities.
Often there is a heron there. Folk walk their dogs and at the weekends young people hang out here.
Place and our human response to it drive Eòghann’s practice. Past and future coalescing in the present.
