For centuries, the Scottish landscape has provided artists with a rich source of inspiration. Whether responding to rural scenes and urban topographies or engaging with environmental issues, the subject is ever-evolving.

Shifting Vistas: 250 Years of Scottish Landscape presents a selection of historic and contemporary artworks from the City Art Centre’s fine art collection. In this online tour, curator Dr Helen Scott introduces some of the highlights of the exhibition, including pieces by James Lawton Wingate, Wilhelmina Barns-Graham, SJ Peploe, Kate Downie, William Delacour, Carol Rhodes and Ravi Agarwal.
