Neil McIntosh retired in 2010 after a career in the electronics manufacturing industry in Central Scotland with Ferranti, Marconi and BAE Systems. His first big project in retirement was to build a Hornby model railway layout in his attic and produced several movies of “Hornby through the Eras” uploaded to YouTube with real locomotive sounds and music of the era.
