Welcome to our annual fashion show and collaboration with Edinburgh College. Fashion and Textile students from Edinburgh College take inspiration from Ron O'Donnell's ‘Edinburgh: A Lost World’ exhibition.
The exhibition features black & white and colour photographs of unseen and forgotten Edinburgh interiors taken during the 1970s, 1980s and early 2000s. The students will be looking at the artist's use of colour, pattern, composition and visuals, developing garment concepts and printed & embellished textiles. The show will also feature a selection of project work that encompasses sustainability and celebrates the architecture and wealth of resources held in public collections across the City of Edinburgh.
