Following the morning introduction by researcher and photographer Owen Logan, reading groups will be formed for a comparative discussion in the afternoon covering the 18th century patronage of philosophy of the arts to their contemporary politics in countries including Italy, France, Britain, Germany, Hungary, and the United States.
