In 2018 we celebrate the centenary of the Representation of the People Act and of women gaining the right to vote.
Processions will take place on 10 June and is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take part in a mass participation artwork to celebrate one hundred years of votes for women.
Join us at the Museum of Edinburgh on Friday 8 June (2pm to 4pm) and Sunday 10 June (10am to 11:30am) to make flags and banners to take to the Processions event. Participants will also be able to visit Their Work is Not forgotten, Museums & Galleries Edinburgh’s exhibition celebrating this momentous anniversary.
This event is free and there is no need to book.
